Mold in Finished Basement

   Mold was found in this homes recently renovated basement.  SERVPRO of Newton / Wellesley were immediately on the scene first containing the situation then properly removed the mold.  Basements are a frequent breeding ground for mold, due to the moisture, lack of ventilation and light. To control the moisture levels in your basement, use a dehumidifier. Vacuum and clean the basement once a week to help prevent basement mold. Prevent condensation by insulating exterior walls, roofs, windows and pipes.
